Berne Town Clerk. then>

Wrap leaking containers in newspaper and place in plastic
bag or container. DO NOT smoke near chemicals or leave
product in a hot, unventilated vehicle for an extended
period of time.

For your SAFETY, please stay in your car. Workers will
unload the material.

From Route 85, turn at Slingerlands Price Chopper onto Cherry
Avenue (Route 140). Proceed to Delaware Avenue (Route443), then
straight onto Elm Avenue
Proceed 2 miles to Bethlehem Elm Avenue Town Park (Route 32
South), turn left onto Elm Avenue at the traffic light.
Proceed 1.6 miles. Take left onto Elm Avenue East where a
traffic pattern for the HHW program is set up. |

Recycling POLICY
as of 4/2009
Due to the sharp increase in the cost of recycling some
electronic items,
Town of Berne residents will now be required to pay for
disposal of items as follows:
Televisions………….…$10
Microwave ovens……… $7
Computer monitors……..$7
Still accepted at no cost to residents: Computers, Terminals,
Printers, Fax Machines, Typewriters, & Photocopiers.
