Spring Clean Up days for residents of the Town of Berne will take place Monday, May 5 to Friday May 27. Brush and yard waste only will be collected. It should be approximately 4 feet or less in length and no more than 10" in diameter and placed at the end of driveway.

NEW (year-round) RECYCLING POLICY

Beginning April 1, 2008 all electronic items will now be accepted at the transfer station at no cost to residents. These items include Computers, Monitors, Terminals, CRTs laptops, Printers, Fax Machines, Typewriters,  Televisions & Photocopiers. Transfer Station Permit must be affixed to back of rear view mirror.

Town of Berne residents may participate in the HHWD sponsored by the Town of Bethlehem which will be held on May 5 from 8 am to 1 pm at the Bethlehem Highway Garage, 74 Elm Ave.East, Selkirk. Special Permits are required and can be obtained from the Berne Town Clerk.
